The visitors struck first through Chérif in the 25th minute, with Algerian duo Himed Abdelli and Haris Belkebla dictating play in midfield during a dominant first half.
However, Marseille turned the tide after the break as Robinho Vaz netted twice (52′, 70′) to give the hosts the lead.
Just as OM appeared to have secured all three points, Angers fought back valiantly, with Camara equalising deep into stoppage time (90’+6).
The result moves SCO further from the relegation zone and highlights their growing resilience.
Paris FC 3-3 Lyon: Kebbal inspires remarkable comeback
In Paris, a six-goal thriller saw Paris FC stage a sensational comeback to hold Lyon to a 3-3 draw.
Lyon looked in complete control after Tolisso’s early opener (5’) and a quick double from Sulc (51’, 58’) made it 3-0.
But Paris FC roared back into contention as Camara pulled one back (65’), before Ilan Kebbal produced a stunning curling finish (77’) and later set up Marchetti for the equaliser (87’).
The draw keeps Paris FC above the danger zone and underscores Kebbal’s growing influence for his side.
From decisive assists to late heroics, Algerian players once again left their mark on Ligue 1, reinforcing their vital presence across several clubs in the French elite.
