Algerian international Ismael Bennacer is hoping to seal a move to former club Olympique Marseille in the final days of the summer transfer window.
The midfielder is considered surplus to requirements at AC Milan, who have been exploring options for his departure since the start of the summer. Bennacer, who spent the last six months on loan at Marseille, has been eager to return to the French club, although a permanent deal has yet to materialise.
According to transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, the situation could take a turn in the final days of the window.
Marseille remain in the picture, but Bologna have also made inquiries in recent hours.
For now, the Rossoblù have only requested information, and it remains to be seen whether they will move forward with concrete negotiations.
Milan, meanwhile, are reportedly willing to consider “last-minute discounts” to offload the player, who has been out of their project plans for several months.
