Algerian midfielder Badreddine Bouanani came off the bench to deliver a brilliant assist for Stuttgart’s fourth goal in a comfortable Europa League group-stage win against Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

The German side had already built a 3-0 lead by the 50th minute, conceded once, then restored their three-goal cushion after the young Algerian entered the pitch.

Brought on in the 74th minute to play on the right wing, Bouanani first saw one of his shots blocked before making the difference deep into stoppage time. In the 94th minute, he combined smartly from a short corner with Bilal El Khannouss, receiving the return ball and driving at two defenders.

With quick footwork, the former Nice player slipped between both markers and whipped in a precise cross toward the far post. Full-back Josha Vagnoman met it with a powerful header to seal a 4-1 victory for Stuttgart.

The Europa League continues to suit Bouanani, who now has two goals and one assist in the competition despite not being a regular starter this season. His impact in limited minutes underlines his growing importance and strengthens his case for more playing time with both club and country.
