Algerian midfielder Ahmed Kendoussi included in March training camp with the Greens
Reports from Egyptian media outlets on Monday affirmed that Ahmed Kendoussi, the midfielder for Egyptian club Al Ahly, currently on loan to Ceramica Cleopatra, will be partaking in the national team’s March training camp.
Kendoussi’s notable performance with Ceramica Cleopatra has caught attention, having played 14 matches, scoring eight goals, and providing three assists across all competitions.
It is anticipated that the new national team coach, Vladimir Petkovic, will extend an invitation to midfielder Kendoussi for the friendly tournament hosted by Algeria from March 18th to 26th, which will also feature Andorra, Bolivia, and South Africa.
The Algerian team, famously known as the Greens, will face Bolivia on March 22nd at the 5 July 1962 Stadium, starting at 22:00 local time.
Following this encounter, they will confront South Africa on March 26th at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Braquie, with kickoff scheduled for 22:00 local time.
It’s worth noting that Kendoussi has previously represented the national team in youth categories and the local squad, achieving a second-place finish in the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
