Algeria powerhouse MC Alger have expressed interest to secure the signing of South African forward Cassius Mailula ahead of upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.
The reigning Algerian top-flight are keen on bolstering their attack in an attempt to make a meaningful impact next season, having booked a place in the CAF Champions League campaign next season.
MC Alger are plotting their face acquisition this summer, with Cassius Mailula, currently plying his trade with MLS outfit Toronto FC emerging as a priority target.
Rulani Mokwena, who is the current head coach of MC Alger is a huge admirer of the South African forward and is keen on reuniting with him.
Having worked with the forward at several clubs including Wydad Casablanca, Mokwena is poised to secure the attacker this summer.
Mokwena is urging the club’s management to sign the striker, whose future remains uncertain.
