Waled Saadi, President of the Algerian Football Federation, extended his congratulations, on behalf of all members of the federal bureau, to Olympique Akbou for their historic promotion to the professional league.

Representing the province of Bejaia, Olympique Akbou secured their fifth consecutive promotion on Saturday, thereby securing a coveted position among the elite clubs for the first time in their history.

The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) conveyed Saadi’s felicitations to Olympique Akbou through its official website following their promotion to the professional league.

This achievement came after their victory over Club de Talaiguileth, marking a historic milestone since the club’s establishment in 1936.

With this triumph, Olympique Akbou widened the gap to 15 points ahead of their closest pursuers, with only four rounds remaining in the completion of the second-tier amateur league, Middle East Group.
