National Liberation Front player, Mohamed Maouche, weighed in on the selection process for the new national coach, emphasizing that the final decision lies with the president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Walid Sadie.
Maouche, speaking to Al-Nahar TV, stated, “We only met once, and the final decision rests with the president of the FAF.”
Addressing the issue further, Maouche highlighted, “We have several resumes from coaches, each with their financial demands.”
He continued, “We cannot currently say anything, as the final decision rests with the president of the Algerian Football Federation.”
Mohamed Maouche is one of the members of the committee appointed by the FAF to review the resumes of coaches nominated to lead the national team.
The comments from Maouche shed light on the process underway to select the new national coach for Algeria’s football team.
With the FAF’s president having the ultimate authority in making the decision, it underscores the importance of his role in shaping the future direction of Algerian football.
