Algeria to face Netherlands in a pre-World Cup friendly Rotterdam
Algeria will travel to the Netherlands for a pre-World Cup friendly in Rotterdam, the Dutch football association confirmed on Monday.
Scheduled for June 3, the match will serve as the Netherlands’ farewell game ahead of their trip to the United States, where they are expected to face another opponent before opening their World Cup Group F campaign against Japan in Dallas on June 14.
Algeria will compete in Group J alongside Argentina, Austria, and Jordan, while the Netherlands, drawn in Group F with Tunisia, will meet the North African side in Kansas City on June 25.
Ahead of these international fixtures, the Dutch squad will also play friendlies against Norway in Amsterdam and Ecuador in Eindhoven later this month.
