Three Algerian football clubs have decided to participate in the CAF interclub competitions – ES Sétif, USM El Harrach, and CS Constantine. The first two clubs, as the reigning champion and runner-up, respectively, have confirmed their participation in the 2014 Orange Champions League. CS Constantine, which finished third in the previous season, has confirmed its participation in the Orange Confederation Cup. However, USM Alger, the winner of the Algerian Cup, has decided not to participate in the competitions. The decision to have Algerian clubs participate was confirmed through official correspondence to the Algerian Football Federation and the Professional Football League.
