Italian Gianni Solinas has been appointed as the new coach of MC Oran in the Algerian Ligue 1. He replaces Omar Belatoui and has signed a renewable one-season contract. Solinas previously coached Algerian clubs CR Belouizdad and JSM Béjaïa between 2011 and 2012. The goal set for him is to guide MC Oran to one of the first five places in the league standings. Solinas will commence his first training session with the team on July 6.
