ALGERIAN LEAGUE: ES SÉTIF DEFEATS MC ALGER IN DELAYED MATCH
CAF Champions League winners ES Sétif continued their upward trajectory with a 2-1 victory over MC Alger on Tuesday in a rescheduled Algerian league fixture.
The goals came from Benyettou (14′) for Sétif, followed by an equalizer from Megatli (65′) for MCA, but Zeghdane (67′) quickly restored Sétif’s lead just two minutes later.
Thanks to this win, Entente Sétif closes the gap at the top of the table and now sits just three points behind the leaders, with a game in hand. Meanwhile, MC Alger slips slightly further down in the standings, adding more pressure as they seek to bounce back.
