Algeria coach Vladimir Petkovic has eulogized forward Mohamed El Amine Amoura following his outstanding performance in the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Mozambique.
Amoura, who plies hid trade for Wolfsburg scored a hat-trick, leading Algeria to a resounding victory over Mozambique on Tuesday night.
However, the Bosnian tactician has expressed his admiration for the outstanding performance of Amoura, stressing that he relies on all players to win matches.
“Amoura is very confident in his abilities, which is reflected in his recent excellent performances. However, we must emphasize that the collective performance is the most important factor in this victory. I do not rely on one player to win, and no player can achieve success alone,” he added.
The Algerian team took the lead alone with (15) points, followed by Mozambique (12), then Botswana and Uganda (9), Guinea (7), and finally Somalia with one point.
