Alexis Beka Beka: French-Congolese midfielder joins FC Aarau from La Louviere
French-Congolese midfielder Alexis Beka Beka has joined Swiss club FC Aarau from Belgian side La Louviere, completing a move on 19 August 2026.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has agreed a contract with Aarau until 30 June 2028. He moves to a club competing in Switzerland’s Challenge League after spending the previous season with La Louviere in the Jupiler Pro League.
Beka Beka joined La Louviere from SM Caen B in July 2025. His move to the Belgian club followed a spell without a club, having left Nice in August 2024. He had previously spent two seasons with Nice after moving there from Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow in August 2022 for €12m.
The Paris-born player began his senior career with SM Caen, progressing from the club’s under-17 and under-19 teams before joining the reserve side. He moved into Caen’s first-team set-up in 2020, then transferred to Lokomotiv Moscow in August 2021 for €6m.
Beka Beka is listed as a defensive midfielder and is right-footed. He stands 1.78m tall, and his arrival gives Aarau a player with experience of football in France, Russia and Belgium.
The move also marks a change of league for Beka Beka, who joins Aarau after his previous club’s campaign in Belgium’s top division. He is now contracted to FC Aarau until June 2028.
