Head coach Alexandre Santos believes AS FAR still have what it takes to overturn their deficit against Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the CAF Champions League final.

Santos Calls for Belief Ahead of Decisive Clash

Despite trailing by one goal after the first leg in Pretoria, the Portuguese manager expressed strong confidence in his squad’s ability to fight back and keep their continental dream alive on home soil.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference earlier today, Santos acknowledged the difficulty of facing one of Africa’s strongest sides but stressed that belief and determination remain high within the dressing room ahead of Sunday’s encounter.

“This is the final match of the Champions League campaign, and I’m proud to be here with my players,” Santos stated.

“Even if we are one goal behind, we fully trust ourselves. We have huge determination and strong ambition to turn things around and deliver a big performance.”

Home Support Could Prove Decisive

AS FAR will look to draw inspiration from a packed Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium as they attempt to erase the deficit and produce a memorable comeback in front of their supporters.

The Moroccan side hopes to deliver a historic performance that could secure continental glory and add another major chapter to the club’s proud history.

Moroccan Giants Dream of Continental Success

Having already established themselves as one of Morocco’s most successful domestic clubs, AS FAR now stand just ninety minutes away from potentially achieving African success on the biggest stage.

A victory would not only represent a historic achievement for the Rabat-based club but would also be celebrated as a major moment for Moroccan football as a whole.
