Cameroonian FC Barcelona midfielder Alexandre Song suggested that his past rivalry with Samuel Eto’o is now behind them. While attending a charity match in Conakry, Song mentioned that their disagreements and arguments are a thing of the past, and there is no more problem between them. Song stated that they are now all looking in the same direction, and he highlighted the positive atmosphere during the last match of the Cameroon national team against Tunisia in Yaoundé. The conflict between Song and Eto’o dates back to the 2010 World Cup, and their public spats through the media have been ongoing for several years. The recent reconciliation was announced during the final matches of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
