Aldo One joins UD Poblense as experienced defender leaves Atletic Lleida

Cameroon-Spain defender Aldo One has joined UD Poblense from Atletic Lleida on a free transfer, bringing an experienced centre-back to the Segunda Federacion club.

The 31-year-old completed the move on 27 August 2026 and is contracted to Poblense until 30 June 2027. He will continue his career in Spain after a season with Atletic Lleida, who he joined from CE L’Hospitalet in August 2025, also on a free transfer.

Born in Yaounde, One stands 1.84m tall and has spent his senior career in the Spanish game. His move to Poblense represents the latest step in a sequence of transfers between clubs in Spain’s lower divisions, with each of his most recent changes of club completed without a fee.

One previously played for CE L’Hospitalet, where he arrived from AE Prat in August 2022. Before that, he had a spell with AE Prat after joining the club in January 2022, having been without a club earlier in the season.

His career also includes time at Salamanca CF, Deportivo Fabril and RCD Mallorca B. He moved to Salamanca from Deportivo Fabril in July 2019, having joined the Galician club from Mallorca B two years earlier. His senior career began after his time with Mallorca’s under-19 side.

The centre-back has made 73 appearances and scored five goals in the Segunda B competition’s Group III, while also recording 57 appearances in Group I. He has featured in the Copa del Rey, Copa Federation and promotion play-offs, and has one La Liga appearance to his name.

One has also scored in the Copa del Rey and in promotion competition during his career. His arrival adds a defender with experience across Spain’s professional and semi-professional divisions to Poblense’s squad for the 2026-27 campaign.

Poblense compete in Segunda Federacion – Group III, the same competition in which One has accumulated his highest number of recorded appearances. The club completed his recruitment with no transfer fee payable to Atletic Lleida, and the player’s contract runs through the end of June 2027.
