Alaa Ragab bids emotional farewell to Zamalek
Alaa Ragab, widely known as “Luca,” has drawn the curtain on his journey with Zamalek SC, announcing his departure from the technical staff just days before the White Knights meet Al-Masry SC in the Egyptian Premier League.
For three years, Ragab has been the quiet engine behind the team’s fitness and conditioning, working closely with players and staff through highs and lows. His presence was felt not only in the training ground but also in the club’s trophy moments, including lifting the CAF Super Cup, the Egypt Cup, and the CAF Confederation Cup.
On his official Facebook page, Ragab wrote: “After three years of working within the venerable Zamalek Club and among its loyal fans, I learned a lot and was honored to win the CAF Super Cup, the Egypt Cup, and the CAF Confederation Cup.”
“I extend my sincere thanks to all the technical, medical, administrative, and mission teams throughout this period. In conclusion, I wish the distinguished Zamalek Club success in the future.”
