Al-Wehdat bring in Morocco midfielder Faouzi Abdoul Mutalib from Ittihad Tanger

Morocco midfielder Faouzi Abdoul Mutalib has joined Al-Wehdat SC from Ittihad Tanger on a free transfer, switching from Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi to the Jordanian Pro League.

The 33-year-old defensive midfielder has signed a contract with Al-Wehdat running until 30 June 2027. He becomes a new addition to the Jordanian club’s midfield after spending the previous seven years in Moroccan football.

Mutalib made 126 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi during his career, scoring eight goals and providing six assists. He also played seven times in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, contributing one goal and one assist.

His move to Al-Wehdat brings an end to his time with Ittihad Tanger, whom he joined from CR Bernoussi in July 2019, also on a free transfer. Before that, he had played for Olym. Sihame, moving to CR Bernoussi in July 2017.

Born in Casablanca, Mutalib is a right-footed midfielder who stands 1.84m tall. His arrival continues a career spent entirely in club football in Morocco before his move to Jordan.

Mutalib formally joined Al-Wehdat on 13 August 2026, with the transfer completed without a fee.
