Al Qadsiah request foreign refereeing team for Al Hilal Saudi Pro League clash

Al Qadsiah have submitted an advance request for a foreign refereeing team to take charge of their Saudi League meeting with Al Hilal, according to Saudi newspaper Al Riyadiya.

The two sides will face one another in the headline fixture of round 11, with Al Qadsiah currently leading the league and Al Hilal in second place.

Al Qadsiah’s management also deposited the required fee before the deadline for requesting foreign officials, which is set at 16 days before a match.

The club had set aside a budget before the start of the sporting season to bring in overseas refereeing teams, particularly for matches involving the leading sides playing in the Eastern Province.

Al Qadsiah moved to the top of the Saudi League with 25 points after securing a narrow victory over Al Taawoun in round 10.

Al Hilal are one point behind them in second place.
