Kingsley Coman has returned to group training with Al Nassr after recovering from injury, raising the prospect of his involvement against Al Kholood in the Roshn Saudi League.
Al Nassr will host Al Kholood at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh on Thursday, 29 October 2026, in the 12th round of the competition.
Saudi journalist Ali Al-Anazi reported that the France winger took part in Tuesday’s team session as Al Nassr continued preparations for the match. Coman had missed the club’s previous two Roshn Saudi League fixtures against Neom and Al-Faisaly because of the injury.
His return to collective training provides Al Nassr with a timely boost before a fixture they will play at home, although the report did not confirm whether Coman will start or be included in the matchday squad.
The 30-year-old was originally expected to be unavailable for four Al Nassr matches. However, two of those fixtures were postponed: the Roshn Saudi League game against Al Ahli and the AFC Champions League Elite meeting with Al Wasl of the United Arab Emirates.
Coman has made only eight appearances for Al Nassr since the beginning of the current season. He has scored once during that period and has yet to provide an assist.
Al Nassr enter the fixture second in the Roshn Saudi League standings with 25 points. They are two points behind leaders Al Hilal and level on goal difference with third-placed Al Qadsiah, who have played one additional match.
The club will therefore face Al Kholood with the opportunity to maintain pressure on the teams above and around them in the table, while Coman’s participation could depend on his recovery following Tuesday’s return to full team training.
