Ibrahima Touré Eyes European Return as French and Foreign Clubs Show Interest
After two years in the United Arab Emirates, Senegalese striker Ibrahima Touré may be on the verge of returning to European football. Currently contracted to Al Nasr, the former AS Monaco forward has been granted leave by the club despite having one year remaining on his deal.
Touré, 29, is now attracting widespread interest from both French and European clubs. In Ligue 1, SCO Angers, SC Bastia, and OGC Nice have all made enquiries about the experienced attacker, who was once a key figure in Monaco’s rise to the top flight.
But the competition for his signature extends beyond France. In Spain, La Liga side Espanyol Barcelona are reportedly monitoring the situation, while Serie A newcomers Bologna have also expressed interest. Meanwhile, in Turkey, both Kasimpasa and Kayserispor have already submitted concrete offers to secure the Senegalese international’s services.
Touré’s next destination remains uncertain, but with multiple options on the table, a return to European football appears increasingly likely before the transfer window closes.
