Al Masry are reportedly pursuing Zamalek forward Nasser Mansi ahead of the current winter transfer window.
A source close to the negotiations revealed that Al Masry has already submitted an official request to Zamalek for the player’s services and is currently working on a deal structure that would satisfy both clubs.
Mansi is said to be keen on securing a loan move in order to regain his form, and is now waiting on a decision from Zamalek’s sporting director, John Edward, before any agreement can be finalised.
Should Zamalek decide to sell the striker permanently, the club is expected to demand no less than 50 million Egyptian pounds.
The final outcome of the negotiations is anticipated to be confirmed within the next few hours.
Earlier indicated that Al Ittihad Alexandria had also shown interest in Mansi, but only on the condition that they would take on his salary — a proposal that Zamalek reportedly rejected.
