Al Masry SC has made its stance clear regarding the future of right-back Ahmed Eid.
The Port Said club is open to selling him to Zamalek, but only under one condition: a goalkeeper must come in return.
Zamalek is eager to land Eid, who has just one season left on his current deal. However, Al Masry insists they will only release him if Zamalek parts ways with either Mohamed Awad or Mohamed Sobhi.
A source within Al Masry revealed that Eid has turned down contract renewal talks. Still, the club views that as a negotiation tactic rather than a final decision. They are not rushing to sell him unless their demand is met.
While Zamalek has reportedly agreed in principle to release one of their goalkeepers, discussions over personal terms with the keeper Al Masry prefers have stalled the move.
With the new season approaching, both clubs are under pressure to finalize terms or risk losing out on a deal that could benefit each side.
