Al Masry extend Abdel Wahab Nader contract through 2030

Al Masry have secured the future of young defender Abdel Wahab Nader by extending his contract for a further four seasons, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2029-30 season.

The new agreement was signed during the current summer transfer window in the presence of Mohamed Moussa, a member of the Al Masry board and the club’s supervisor of the first team.

The renewal reflects Al Masry’s determination to retain one of the most promising young players to have emerged from their squad. Nader has established himself as part of the club’s plans after making the progression from the youth academy to the senior team.

The 21-year-old is capable of playing both at centre-back and right-back. His performances last season earned him a place in the first-team coaching staff’s considerations, helping him strengthen his position within the squad.

Nader made nine appearances for Al Masry last season.

His contract extension forms part of the club’s wider plan to keep their young players and preserve the core of the team before the start of the new campaign. Al Masry are seeking to maintain their challenge in domestic and continental competitions, with the club keen to build continuity around the squad ahead of the season.

The agreement also provides a clear indication of the club’s confidence in Nader’s development. Having come through Al Masry’s youth system, he has now been rewarded with a long-term place in the first-team structure after making an impression during the previous season.

Al Masry completed the deal during a summer window in which the club is working to prepare its squad for the campaign ahead. Retaining Nader ensures that a young defender who can cover two positions remains part of those plans through 2030.

The defender’s ability to operate in central defence or on the right side gives the coaching staff an additional option while the team prepares for its domestic and continental commitments.
