Al Masry coach Nebil Koki sets high ambition in CAF Confederation Cup

Al Masry head coach Nebil Koki says his outfit is determined to go far as possible in the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The Egyptian outfit begin their group stage campaign with a home game against South African side Kaizer Chiefs in a highly competitive clash.

“Our ambitions are high, and we will defend our chances with full determination. We face some key absences, but we have full confidence in the players to compensate effectively.” He said.

Despite acknowledging coach Ben Youssef threat, Koki insists his outfit are prepared for the clash.

“We know how strong Kaizer Chiefs are, and we are fully prepared. Having Tunisian coach Khalil Ben Youssef leading Kaizer Chiefs adds a level of difficulty to the match,” Koki said as per MISR Connect.

“The start is crucial at this stage of the tournament. We are determined to take all three points.”

Meanwhile, Koki has called on the fans to troop to the stadium to cheer the team up to victory.

“I expect strong support from Al-Masry fans to encourage the players. Our aim is to go as far as possible in the Confederation Cup, starting with advancing from the group.
