Al Masry’s board has called a general assembly meeting for Friday, 4 December 2026, at the club’s social headquarters, with the election of a new board for the 2026-30 term at the centre of the agenda.
Members will vote for a president, vice-president, treasurer and four board members, in accordance with the club’s statutes.
The meeting will also include approval of the minutes from the previous general assembly, along with a review of the board’s report on its work during the financial year ending on 30 June 2026.
Members will consider the club’s activity programmes and work plan for the new financial year, as well as the report from the auditor.
The agenda also includes approval of the budget and final accounts for the financial year ending on 30 June 2026, together with the proposed budget for the 2026-27 financial year.
The general assembly will be asked to approve the board’s report on the salaries and bonuses of the executive director and financial director.
It will also appoint an auditor for the 2026-30 electoral term and consider proposals submitted by members within the legally specified deadline.
The club said nominations for the new board would remain open for one week, from Wednesday, 21 October 2026, until Tuesday, 27 October 2026.
Applications must be submitted at Social Club (1) in the Al-Dawahi district between 10:00 and 18:00 each day during that period.
