In an official letter received by Raja Casablanca’s secretariat on Saturday morning, Al-Khor SC expressed their interest in acquiring the contract of Mohamed Boulaksout, a former player of Chabab Mohammedia.
The Qatari club’s interest in Boulaksout follows his standout performances in recent matches of the Moroccan Professional League and the Throne Cup.
Notably, Boulaksout played a pivotal role in Raja Casablanca’s recent triumph over AS FAR in the Throne Cup final, where he scored the winning goal, securing the trophy for his team.
This victory marked Raja Casablanca’s second title of the last season.
A source from Raja Casablanca welcomed the offer from Al-Khor SC, indicating that the decision hinges on whether the Qatari club can present a financial offer that reflects Boulaksout’s capabilities.
“Everything depends on the financial terms proposed by the Qatari team.
If the offer is suitable, our technical committee can proceed with recruiting a replacement for Boulaksout,” the source stated.
This potential transfer highlights the increasing recognition of Moroccan football talents on the international stage, with clubs from other leagues showing keen interest in acquiring players who have demonstrated exceptional skills and performance.
