Abdelaziz Barrada Linked with Move Away from Al Jazira
Moroccan midfielder Abdelaziz Barrada may be set to leave Al Jazira just a year after joining the club. Reports suggest tensions have arisen between Barrada and coach Eric Gerets, complicating the player’s position in the squad.
With foreign player quotas in the UAE league, Barrada’s place is under threat, and both Olympique de Marseille and FC Porto are reportedly interested in signing him.
However, Al Jazira is demanding a hefty €10 million transfer fee, which has so far blocked any potential move. Barrada is contracted to the club until June 2017.
