Al Ittihad have not abandoned their pursuit of Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa, with the Saudi Arabian club continuing negotiations over a potential deal for the Algeria international.
The discussions with Feyenoord have yet to produce an agreement, but Al Ittihad are seeking a resolution that would allow them to make Hadj Moussa one of their latest attacking additions. The talks were reported by Fabrizio Romano, after Africafoot first revealed the Saudi club’s interest in the player.
Hadj Moussa remains under contract with Feyenoord until June 2030 and, for now, is still a player of the Rotterdam club. However, his future could yet lie away from the Netherlands if the two clubs are able to reach an agreement in the coming days.
The complexity of the negotiations has led Al Ittihad to prepare an alternative option. Should they fail to agree terms with Feyenoord quickly, the Saudi club could step up their efforts to sign Luiz Henrique, who currently plays for Zenit Saint Petersburg.
Initial contact is understood to have been made regarding the Brazilian winger. Al Ahli also attempted to recruit the 24-year-old during the summer, according to exclusive information reported by Africafoot.
Hadj Moussa’s performances in recent months have strengthened his reputation and ensured he remains in demand in the transfer market. Transfermarkt currently estimates his value at 23m euros, reflecting the growing interest in the Algeria international.
The winger earns an annual salary of 490,000 euros, equivalent to 318,500,000 CFA francs, according to the figures cited in the report.
A separate analysis by Mohamed Ben Chabir Lamine has examined Hadj Moussa’s future and the possibility of an option involving Chelsea, although no further details of that potential move are provided.
Feyenoord are due to play their sixth league match of the season in the Netherlands against Zwolle. Hadj Moussa remains part of the Feyenoord squad unless a transfer is completed, with the Rotterdam club still holding his registration and contract.
The match has also been accompanied by published betting prices from 1xBet. Feyenoord are listed at 1.35 to win, while a draw is priced at 4.45 and a Zwolle victory at 5.40.
