Al Ittihad Alexandria are moving quickly to rebuild their team as they look to bring in Mohamed Youssef from Al Ahly to take charge.

The club dismissed Ahmed Sami after a string of poor results and believe Youssef can steady the ship.

According to Kooora, Youssef believes the situation at Al Ittihad Alexandria is unstable following the departure of former club president Mohamed Moselhy. Additionally, a payment crisis is affecting the team’s stability.

Club insiders admit the approach is bold but stress that the fans and board want a leader who can guide the team through its troubled spell. Youssef, who is not keen on staying at Al Ahly, remains cautious. He has told close associates that he seeks an offer that suits him and provides a stable experience, similar to his successful stint with Haras El Hodoud.

Meanwhile, Alexandria Union officials are making strong efforts to convince him to take the job. They have promised full financial backing and are hopeful he will commit to their vision.
