Egyptian outfit Al-Ittihad Alexandria have appointed Talat Youssef as their new head coach.
He replaces Cypriot coach Nikodemos Papavasiliou, who was shown the exit door following a string of unimpressive results.
Talat Youssef is expected to lead the team at training on Tuesday as they prepare for their upcoming game against ZED Club in the Egyptian Premier League.
The experienced tactician assumed the leadership of Al-Ittihad Alexandria for the seventh time in his coaching career.
He began the season with fellow Egyptian club Modern Sport before being sacked over poor result.
Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad Board of Directors headed by Mohamed Moselhy have thrown support behind their new coach.
