Al Hilal invite rising midfield talent Arsène Akuomo for trial in Rwanda
Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman have extended an official invitation to 18-year-old midfielder Venevene Akuomo Arsène for a 10-day trial in Rwanda, with all travel and accommodation costs fully covered, according to reports.
The highly rated youngster, who currently features for DC Motema Pembe, has been one of the standout performers in his side’s campaign this season, producing an impressive run of form that has attracted attention beyond domestic borders.
Across 13 appearances, Arsène has registered 2 goals, 8 assists, and earned 6 Man of the Match awards — statistics that underline his growing reputation as one of the most promising young midfielders in the region.
However, despite the strong interest from Al Hilal, DC Motema Pembe are reportedly reluctant to release the player for the proposed trial, creating an impasse over his short-term availability.
The situation now leaves the teenager’s immediate future uncertain, as interest in his development continues to rise while his current club weighs its options.
