Al Hilal given extra preparation time as Al Ettifaq fixture is rescheduled

Al Hilal’s Roshn Saudi League match against Al Ettifaq has been moved back by 48 hours and will now be played on 7 November, rather than its originally scheduled date of 5 November.

The Saudi Pro League has confirmed the change for the two clubs’ match in matchweek 13 of the Roshn Saudi League.

The rearrangement allows Al Hilal additional recovery time before returning to domestic action. The club had been due to play Shabab Al Ahli Dubai on 3 November in matchweek four of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Under the revised schedule, the Saudi side will have two extra days before facing Al Ettifaq. The change takes into account Al Hilal’s commitments in both continental and domestic competitions during a particularly demanding period of fixtures.

The match remains an important fixture in Al Hilal’s league campaign, but the later date gives head coach Simone Inzaghi more time to prepare his squad after the Asian tie.

Al Hilal currently lead the Roshn Saudi League with 27 points. They moved to the top of the table after beating Al Qadsiah 3-2 in matchweek 11.
