Egyptian international Mohammed Salah has emerged as a top transfer target for Saudi Pro League giants, Al Hilal and Al Ittihad ahead of the winter transfer window.

Despite having a running contract, the former Chelae and Roma star could part ways with Liverpool as early as January after a break in relationship with manager Arne Slot.

Salah has struggled to replicate last season’s record-breaking performance for the Reds, with manager Arne Slot relegating the pacey winger to the bench in the sides’ last three games in the Premier League.

The experienced winger was benched for the third time running on Saturday, as the Reds played out a 3-3 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road.

After the match, the Egyptian star confirmed a break in relationship with Liverpool manager Arne Slot, sparking speculations about his future at the club despite having an existing contract.

Salah is frustrated with his bench warming role at the club, sparking a potential winter departure, with Saudi Arabia giants, Al Hilal and Al Ittihad expressing firm interest in the attacker.

The Saudi Pro League giants are prepared to offer a fee between the €80–100, including bonuses to secure the signature of the Egyptian international.

The attacker signed a new two-year contract with the Reds late last season, keeping him at the club until summer 2027. On the back of his outstanding performance last season, which his goals and assists propelled Slot’s side to Premier League glory, Salah has not hit the same heights this season.

For the record, Salah has made 19 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists.
