Al Ettifaq’s Mohamed Al-Essa stars as Jawwy Elite League opener ends 10-1

Al Ettifaq began their Jawwy Elite League Under-21 campaign in record-breaking fashion by overwhelming Al Tadamon 10-1 in a one-sided match dominated by their attacking play from the opening minutes.

Mohamed Al-Essa set the tone by putting Al Ettifaq ahead after only five minutes. The forward struck again in the 24th minute, giving his side a two-goal advantage and providing an early indication that the game could develop into a heavy scoring contest.

Al Ettifaq continued to attack with intensity and extended their lead through Jalal Al-Salem in the 28th minute. Al-Essa completed his hat-trick in the 40th minute, scoring the fourth goal for his team.

Al Tadamon did manage to find the net before half-time, with Ziyad Al-Shammari scoring in the 36th minute. However, the goal did little to alter the pattern of the match as Al Ettifaq went into the interval 4-1 ahead.

The visitors, or Al Ettifaq, resumed the second half in the same aggressive fashion. Al-Essa scored again in the 50th minute to complete a personal four-goal haul and make it 5-1.

Just four minutes later, Al-Salem added his second goal of the match. The sixth goal underlined the extent of Al Tadamon’s defensive problems, with Al Ettifaq continuing to create opportunities almost at will.

Ahmed Al-Dahim joined the scoring in the 63rd minute, before Fares Al-Ghafli added an eighth goal only two minutes later. Al Ettifaq’s control remained complete as they pressed forward in search of more goals rather than settling for their commanding advantage.

The attacking onslaught continued into the closing stages. Issa Al-Sharari scored the ninth goal in the 81st minute, while Al-Dahim returned to complete the rout with his second goal of the game in the 85th minute.

The result gives Al Ettifaq an emphatic opening victory in the Jawwy Elite League and immediately highlights the strength of their attacking options. Scoring 10 times in a single match provides an early statement of intent in the Under-21 competition.

For Al Tadamon, the scale of the defeat leaves them needing to reorganise quickly after a match in which they struggled to contain Al Ettifaq’s forwards and were repeatedly exposed defensively.

The game marked the beginning of Al Ettifaq’s participation in the Jawwy Elite League, with their historic victory offering a spectacular start to their campaign. Their four-goal contribution from Al-Essa, along with two goals each from Al-Salem and Al-Dahim, formed the foundation of a result that was effectively decided by half-time.

The match was also promoted as part of the Saudi Jawwy League coverage available through stc tv. Separately, reports have described the future of Karim Benzema with Al Hilal as reaching a decisive stage, while fans were invited to discuss the latest football news and topics in the Koora forums.
