Al-Diriyah land Algeria attacker Adil Boulbina for Saudi Pro League campaign

Algeria left winger Adil Boulbina has joined Al-Diriyah from Al-Duhail, switching Qatar’s Stars League for the Saudi Pro League in a completed transfer.

Boulbina, 23, moved to the Saudi club on 22 August 2026 and will wear the number 10 shirt. The El Milia-born forward is a right-footed left winger and arrives after one season with Al-Duhail, having previously played for Algerian club Paradou AC.

His move takes him into a new domestic competition after a campaign in which he featured 19 times in the Stars League, scoring five goals and providing five assists. He also scored six goals in eight AFC Champions League appearances, adding one assist, while making one appearance in the QSL Cup.

Boulbina’s record in Algeria includes 103 Ligue 1 appearances, 35 goals and 18 assists. His most productive league campaign came in 2024-25, when he finished as the competition’s top scorer with 20 goals.

He joined Al-Duhail from Paradou AC on 1 July 2025 in a €3.3m transfer. Before progressing into senior football with Paradou, Boulbina spent time with Paradou’s under-21 side, joining the club’s senior team in October 2021.

The forward also has experience in continental competition, scoring once in the AFC Champions League Elite qualifying round in addition to his goals in the main competition. His 2026 record includes two appearances at the World Cup, although he did not score or assist in those matches.

Boulbina joins Al-Diriyah with a market value of €3m and becomes part of a club competing in Saudi Arabia’s top flight. His arrival brings a player with league experience in both Algeria and Qatar, as well as a record of goals and assists across domestic and Asian competitions.

The transfer marks the latest step in Boulbina’s senior career, which began at Paradou before taking him to Al-Duhail and now Al-Diriyah. The Algerian attacker has completed his move to the Saudi Pro League club.
