The pulsating encounter between Al Ahly and Inter Miami in the opening match at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is currently topping the charts as the match with the highest stadium attendance rate (93%) so far.
Ahly are participating in the ongoing tournament in the United States of America alongside Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, Espérance Sportive de Tunis, and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa as representatives from Africa.
The Egyptian champions began their campaign with a goalless draw against Inter Miami in Group A. In the same group, Brazilian side Palmeiras also played out a 0-0 draw with Portuguese giants Porto.
According to the international network “si”, the Al Ahly versus Inter Miami fixture remains the match with the highest attendance so far, with 60,927 fans filling 93 per cent of the Hard Rock Stadium’s capacity.
Other matches on the list include Bayern Munich’s clash with Auckland City at TQL Stadium, which attracted 21,152 spectators (81%), and Paris Saint-Germain’s meeting with Atletico Madrid at the Rose Bowl, which drew a crowd of 80,619 fans (90%)
The tournament continues to generate excitement as more fixtures unfold, but for now, Al Ahly’s opener with Inter Miami stands as the most-watched match in the stands.
The Egyptian giants are currently preparing for their second match of the tournament against Palmeiras on June 19.
