Al Ahly winger Ahmed Sayed Zizo will under further tests in Egypt to ascertain the extent of injury sustained in their Premier League clash against National Bank SC.
The Egyptian international felt discomfort and had to be replaced by Hussein El Shahat in the 30-th-minute mark, as his outfit played out a 1-1 draw with National Bank, held at the Cairo International Stadium.
However, Al Ahly team doctor Ahmed Gaballah has disclosed Zizo will undergo medical tests to determine the extent of his injury and the duration of his absence from Al-Ahly team.
“Ahmed Zizo complained of pain in his right hamstring, and will undergo further medical examinations in the coming hours.” He said.
National Bank went to the halftime break with the advantage after Mostafa Shalaby broke the deadlock in the 11th-minute mark.
Ten minutes to full time, the Egyptian giants pulled parity through highly-rated attacker Mahmoud Trezeguet. Both teams searched for the match-winner in the dyeing embers of the match, but neither could find a decisive breakthrough as the game ended in a draw.
The Egyptian giants has now stumbled for the third time in their last four matches in the ongoing campaign, threatening their league title chances.
