Al Ahly winger Ahmed Mostafa “Zizo” suffers injury setback in Enppi SC clash

Al Ahly Ahmed Mostafa “Zizo” has suffered an injury setback in his outfit English Premier League clash against Enppi SC on Sunday.

Zizo, who joined the record CAF Champions League holders from Zamalek was forced off with an injury after just 23 minutes into the high-competitive clash

The enterprising winger complained of muscle pain and had to be substituted for Taher Mohamed Taher. Before the game, Zizo had complained of fatigue during the warm-up session, but insisted on playing the match.

The Egyptian international is expected to undergo scans to determine the extent of the injury he picked against Enppi SC.

Al Ahly will be hoping for a swift return to action for Zizo as they seeks to turn things around following a difficult start to the season.

Zizo has been impressive so far this season despite his outfit inconsistent performance in the Premier League.

After four games, Zizo has racked up two goals and provided two assists across the period for Al Ahly.
