Al Ahly’s leadership has taken fresh steps to shape the future of the club, with president Mahmoud El Khatib bringing key figures together for a decisive meeting on contracts and deals.

The session brought El Khatib alongside planning committee head Mokhtar Mokhtar, with Zakaria Nassef, Mohamed Youssef, Walid Salah El Din, and Osama Helal also at the table.

Discussions focused on creating a clear vision for the football sector, covering both first team and youth players. The agenda included technical needs, marketing value, and the input of the coaching staff, with everyone asked to share views on how to secure the club’s long-term success.

As part of the outcome, Mohamed Youssef and Walid Salah El Din have been added to the planning committee, where they will review player files in the coming weeks. This includes contracts due to expire as well as possible new signings, ensuring the squad remains strong across all levels.

Meanwhile, the first team continues preparations for their league clash against Enppi on Sunday, with interim coach Emad El Nahhas guiding the side until a foreign coach is named.
