Al Ahly has made its stance clear as reports circulate linking Moroccan defender Achraf Dari with a move to Saudi Arabia.
Despite growing talk from Saudi First Division circles, the Egyptian giants have confirmed that no official bid has landed on their desk yet for the 26-year-old.
Speaking to Kooora, a senior Al Ahly source shared that a marketing agency recently reached out to inquire about the club’s willingness to offload Dari. However, the approach was vague, offering no club name or concrete deal.
“Al Ahly’s response was clear that the club only deals with official, complete offers, including the name of the club interested in the player and the proposed financial compensation,” the official said.
“Al Ahly is open to selling Achraf Dari during the current transfer window, but only if the financial offer is no less than $1.5 million,” the official added.
So far, the Cairo-based club remains unmoved, stressing no formal proposals have arrived. For now, Dari stays in red, as Al Ahly waits for the right price and a serious buyer.
