The Sporting Director of Al Ahly, Mohamed Youssef, has disclosed that the club is in the process of signing new players.
According to him, the club is currently negotiating with several players to strengthen the team ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
“We are currently negotiating with players to bolster certain positions according to the coach’s vision. Once we complete the negotiations, we will announce the new players who will join the team,” Mohamed Youssef said as quoted on the Al Ahly website on Tuesday, July 1.
Mohamed Youssef added, “We aim to finalise these matters before the preparatory camp for the new season, which is being arranged appropriately.”
Al Ahly recently participated in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup as one of the four clubs from Africa.
Unfortunately, the team could not advance to the knockout stage.
The Al Ahly players are currently on break and will regroup to commence pre-season in the latter part of July.
The club is keen on building a formidable squad that will be capable of winning trophies next season.
