Al Ahly have locked in their 28-man squad for the FIFA Club World Cup, ready to make a statement on the global stage when the tournament begins this Sunday in the United States.
The Egyptian giants will kick off their campaign with a high-profile clash against MLS side Inter Miami in Group A, which also features Brazil’s Palmeiras and Portugal’s FC Porto. With the final registration window officially closing at midnight, Al Ahly moved early to confirm their roster and avoid last-minute surprises.
Veteran goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy headlines a team packed with experience and youthful promise. Alongside him are fellow keepers Mostafa Shoubair and Mostafa Makhlouf. The defence boasts names like Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany, while midfield depth comes from Hamdy Fathy, Emam Ashour and Aliou Dieng.
