Al Ahly SC are reportedly showing strong interest in signing Zimbabwean forward Tawanda Maswanhise as they prepare to strengthen their attacking options ahead of next season.
The Egyptian giants are said to have identified the 23-year-old as one of several forwards under consideration, with his current club, Motherwell FC, valuing him at around $4 million.
Despite the reported valuation, personal terms are not expected to pose any significant challenge for Al Ahly should negotiations progress, with the player’s salary expectations understood to be within the club’s reach.
Maswanhise has enjoyed a standout campaign, delivering an impressive return of 17 goals and 2 assists.
His form has attracted growing attention, with his pace, movement, and finishing ability marking him out as one of Motherwell’s most influential attacking threats this season.
As the transfer window approaches, interest is expected to intensify, though no formal agreement has yet been reached between the clubs.
