Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly have renewed their interest in Tunisia star Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane.
The African giants are seeking to augment their squad ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled for June 15 to July 13.
Al Ahly now stand a chance of securing the services of Ferencvaros’ Ben Romdhane following the arrival of Naby Keita.
The former Liverpool star joined Ferencvaros on a short term deal with an option to make the deal permanent on January 2026.
Keita leaves Werder Bremen after falling out with management of the Bundesliga outfit and will now look to rediscover his form in Budapest.
His arrival leaves the door open for Al Ahly, who are keen to sign the Tunisian in the upcoming transfer window
