Al-Ahly’s medical team has clarified the condition of three key players, Mahmoud Trezeguet, Yassin Marei, and Moroccan defender Achraf Dari, amid concerns over recent injuries.
According to a source within the club’s medical staff, Trezeguet experienced minor muscle discomfort but took part fully in the team’s evening training session.
Similarly, Dari reported feeling some heaviness following gym work, but medical checks confirmed he is completely fit, allowing him to join the session without restrictions.
Defender Yassin Marei, however, left training early after an initial assessment indicated a hamstring strain.
He underwent an X-ray, the results of which are expected tomorrow.
Following that, the medical team will determine his rehabilitation program and the expected duration of his absence.
The club also confirmed that midfielder Imam Ashour will gradually resume training starting tomorrow, while Marawan Attia and Yasser Ibrahim are set to miss Al-Ahly’s upcoming league match against El Mahalla next Monday due to injury.
