Al Ahly have moved to calm fans by offering clear updates on the fitness of several key players as the team prepares for their upcoming league meeting with El Mahalla on Monday.

A source within the medical staff told Kooora that Mahmoud Trezeguet experienced some muscle pain earlier but trained normally with his teammates in the evening session. The same reassurance was given for Moroccan defender Achraf Dari, who had complained of heaviness after a gym workout. Following checks, he was confirmed fit and also took part in training without issue.

However, not all the news was positive. Defender Yassin Marai had to leave training after suffering a hamstring strain. He has already undergone an X-ray, with results expected tomorrow. His recovery plan and time on the sidelines will be confirmed once the medical team reviews the findings.

In better news, midfielder Imam Ashour is set to return gradually to training from tomorrow, although Marawan Attia and Yasser Ibrahim remain sidelined and will miss the El Mahalla match.
