Al Ahly plotting move for midfielder Agustin Manzur

Al Ahly are carefully studying their next midfield addition as they set their sights on midfielder Agustin Manzur.

The Egyptian giants are exploring options for the summer transfer window and have taken an early step toward a possible deal.

Manzur, who plays for Paraguayan side Guaireña, has emerged as a name of interest for the Red Devils.

“There has been actual contact with the player and his agent over the past few hours, with the aim of inquiring about his desire to play for Al-Ahly and the value of his contract with his club,” a club told Kooora.

“There have been no negotiations with the player or his club so far, as the matter has not gone beyond inquiring about interest.”

While no formal talks have begun, Al Ahly appear to be laying the groundwork. With the club eyeing continental and domestic success next season, a move for the young midfielder could be part of a broader squad refresh.
