Al Ahly players have undergone physical assessments ahead of the start of pre-season training for the 2025/26 campaign.
The assessments were conducted under the supervision of the club’s technical and medical teams on Monday, July 14, forming the first phase of a structured program aimed at analysing each player’s fitness levels.
This scientific approach, spearheaded by head coach José Ribeiro and his staff, is designed to tailor individual training regimens to help maximise performance ahead of the new campaign.
As part of their pre-season schedule, Al Ahly have set up a training camp in Tunisia, which will include three high-intensity friendly matches to enhance player readiness for the challenges ahead.
The Red Devils are focused on a strong start to the new season, with ambitions to reclaim domestic dominance and make a deep run in continental competitions.
Their targets include the Egyptian Premier League, Egypt Cup, League Cup, Egyptian Super Cup, and the CAF Champions League.
Al Ahly wrapped up their previous campaign with a showing at the Club World Cup, finishing fourth in Group A after securing draws against Inter Miami and Porto, and suffering a loss to Palmeiras.
The club is keen on competing for success in the 2025/26 football season.
