Egyptian giants Al Ahly have completed all processes surrounding the termination of the contract of coach Marcel Koller.
This has been confirmed by the club in a statement released on its website on Thursday, July 31.
“Al-Ahly Club has finalised all matters related to its contract with Marcel Koller, the club’s former coach, by mutual consent,” part of the club statement said.
According to the club, Marcel Koller received three months’ salary due to the termination of his contract, in addition to the remaining dues and bonuses he received for the season that ended on June 30, 2025.
This is in accordance with the contract previously signed between the two parties.
In its statement, Al Ahly thanked Marcel Koller for his contribution to the club and wished him success in the next chapter of his managerial career.
“The club expresses its appreciation for everything Kohler has done during his tenure as team manager and wishes him continued success,” the Egyptian club said.
